Canopies and attics made from metal meshes and grids enrich architectural features of a building. They are perfectly suitable for both private gardens and public spaces. Rich and elegant form of such projects makes them become one of the main decorations of a whole building. These strong structures can create not only a roof but also a vertical wall. Their application in the premises such as stores, restaurants and cafés can effectively enlarge their usable space.
Constructed from expanded metal sheet, the attic gave a monumental and unique spatial lightness to the shape of the Cuprum shopping centre, which is one of the largest shopping centres in Lower Silesia. Nearly 4,000 m² of varnished grid, which perfectly complements the colour scheme of the entire project, was used in order to achieve this effect. The grid not only fulfils decorative functions, but also serves to disguise undesirable components and the top portion of the elevation, crowning it with a characteristic, openwork collar.
Installation of structures and elevation for large-format advertising boards with the use of 500 m2 Radius P07100 mesh in the Gocław Shopping Centre belonging to Tesco, which is one of the most modern buildings of this type in Warsaw.
Panels made from pressure welded grid have found an interesting application as attics. Thanks to their robust construction, they also served as means for placing advertising signs in Magnolia Park, the largest shopping centre in Lower Silesia. Their additional application as car park screens on the roof allowed for product and colour standardisation of all elements made from grid.
